Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Attribase ("the App"), a Shopify application developed by FAB Web Studio ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Attribase is a Shopify app that allows merchants to create custom product attribute groups with dynamic pricing. The App provides an admin interface for managing attribute groups and a storefront extension that displays custom fields on product pages.

2. Account and Installation

To use Attribase, you must have an active Shopify store. The App is installed through the Shopify App Store and uses Shopify's OAuth authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account.

3. Pricing and Billing

Attribase offers a free plan with limited usage and paid plans with expanded features. All billing is processed through Shopify's Billing API. Charges appear on your regular Shopify invoice.

You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time through the App's pricing page or your Shopify admin. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle.

4. Refunds

Since billing is handled by Shopify, refund requests are subject to Shopify's terms. If you are unsatisfied with the App within the first 30 days of a paid subscription, contact us at support@fabwebstudio.com and we will work with you to resolve the issue or process a refund through Shopify.

5. Data Storage and Ownership

All business data created through Attribase (attribute groups, product assignments, custom field configurations) is stored in Shopify metaobjects and metafields within your store. You own this data. It remains in your store if you uninstall the App.

The only data stored on our servers is your Shopify session token for authentication purposes. This data is deleted automatically when you uninstall the App. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

We strive to keep Attribase available and functioning at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance, Shopify platform changes, and unforeseen issues may cause temporary disruptions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FAB Web Studio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill arising out of your use of the App.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the App will meet your specific requirements.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify admin. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms, with notice where practicable.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which FAB Web Studio operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
