Attribase ("the App") is developed and maintained by FAB Web Studio ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you install and use our Shopify app.

What data we collect

When you install Attribase, we access the following through Shopify's APIs:

• Store information: Your Shopify store domain and basic store details, used to authenticate your account and provide the app's services.
• Product data: Product titles, prices, and metafields, used to display and manage attribute groups and custom fields assigned to your products.
• Order data: Order details including line item properties, used to display attribute selections in the orders dashboard.

We do not collect or store:

• Customer personal information (names, emails, addresses, payment details)
• Customer browsing or behavioral data
• Any data beyond what is required for the app to function

How we store data

All business data (attribute groups, product assignments, custom fields) is stored in Shopify metaobjects and metafields — directly in your Shopify store, not on our servers. This means your data remains in your store even if you uninstall the app.

The only data stored on our servers is your Shopify session token, used to keep you authenticated while using the admin dashboard. Session data is stored in an encrypted database and is automatically deleted when you uninstall the app.

Third-party sharing

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to any third parties. We do not use your data for advertising, analytics, or any purpose other than providing the app's functionality.

Error monitoring

We use Sentry for error tracking to maintain app reliability. When an error occurs, technical diagnostic information (error messages, stack traces, request metadata) may be sent to Sentry. This data does not include customer personal information, store content, or product data.

GDPR and data rights

If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to:

• Request access to any personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your data
• Request that we stop processing your data
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format

When you uninstall the app, we automatically delete all session data from our servers within 48 hours. Metaobject and metafield data remains in your Shopify store under your control.

CCPA compliance

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, contact us at the email address below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
